About our Farm Daddeaw Large Chicken
Nestled along the serene Nan River in northern Thailand, Farm Daddeaw is a pioneering regenerative farm that was established in 2023. Spanning approximately 150 rai, the farm focuses on raising chickens with a deep commitment to health, sustainability, and taste. The farm’s approach is built on the principles of regenerative agriculture, which enhances soil health, improves the water cycle, and fosters biodiversity.
At Farm Daddeaw, chickens are raised using organic feed from Tankhun and using a Cornish cross breed of hen. From day 1 to 21, the chickens are nurtured in a brooder, before being moved to a spacious, mobile pen on pasture. These pens have no floor, allowing the chickens to sleep directly on the land. They are given fresh pasture every day, spending a total of 35 days grazing, eating grass, and bugs. This rotational grazing system provides the chickens with a wide variety of nutrients, contributing to the deep, rich flavor of the meat.
Farm Daddeaw also prioritizes animal welfare, ensuring that the chickens are never given antibiotics, hormones, or vaccinations. With on-site slaughter and processing facilities, the farm delivers stress-free, fresh products directly to consumers, keeping meat as nutrient-dense and flavorful as possible.
